Join the sturdiest and vikingest people of OutVentures and come on this chilly adventure with us on the wonderful island of Møn where we will see its famous chalk cliffs and its famous "Dark Sky" :)
We will meet at Copenhagen Central Station Friday a little before 15.00 - the train departs at 15.03. We will arrive in Klintholm Havn on Møn around 18.00.
Expect to be back Sunday no later than 18.00.
Saturday morning we will set out from Klintholm Havn and walk westwards along the coast, first via the beach, then through the forest until we reach Geocenter Møn. It will be the most scenic day of the trip with plenty of photo ops. along the way. At the Geocenter we will have a break, but as the center is closed for the winter, we will have to make our own coffee. After that we will continue North until we reach our campsite where we will settle for the night, cook and hopefully be able to watch the stars very clearly on a clear sky.
Sunday we will walk through the forest and some open fields back to Klintholm Havn where we will get on the homebound bus.

Okay, okay. We will spend the first night in a motel on the harbor so we can have a glass of wine and wish each other a happy new year :) However, we will spend the second night in a campsite with no shelters, so make sure to bring your tent or hook up with someone who has extra space in theirs.
There are no opportunities to grocery shop after we leave Copenhagen, so please do your shopping before then. There is a kitchen at the motel, so you can heat a pizza or make coq au vin if you want :) There is of course also a fridge + freezer if you want to store food for the rest of the trip.
For the second night, the weather presents a good opportunity to bring a premade frozen dish from home. Because it is going to be cold, it can easily be stored in your backpack until then. You can of course also bring bread, a freeze dried meal or ingredients to prep your meal out there depending on your level of vikingness!
We can tap water Saturday morning at the motel and replenish close to the campsite in the evening and Sunday morning.
If you need tips for the other meals/snacks, please contact the tour leader.
Tour leader will bring cooking equipment appropriate for the number of participants if you don''t have your own.
The daily routes are not so long (10-12 km), so worry more about bringing what you need to withstand the cold than about the weight of your backpack. We will of course take the needed breaks.

There is no fee for the trip, but you must sign up in Klubmodul. Apart from that, you must book and/or pay for the following yourself:
- Train + bus ticket to Klintholm Havn and back: 121,00 kr. with Rejsekort for a single journey.
- Accommodation at Klintholm Marina Park. There are 2 person rooms for 450 DKK per room and 4 person rooms for 550 DKK per room.
